I don't know how, but believe something with my resolution(?) may be causing these problems. Oddly enough, changing the scale factor in the video settings to the lowest it can go briefly fixed these issues(while looking like SNES Doom), but even that isn't working anymore.
For me however the black sprite that is supposed to fade away covers only about 25% of my screen which looks super awkward.(less of an issue) When I try to reload my gun, no reload animation plays and the bullets instantly refill my clip regardless of what settings I have in the BD options menu.Īlso, at the start of a level BDv21 beta has this effect where the screen starts all black, and the players view gradually fades in. Brutal Doom V21 Beta has recently been released, but I am having some strange problems.
